1. How to open your business website from the app and web portal?
Did you know you can directly open your website from the Boost app and also the web portal? Here is how to do it.
a) From the App
i. Go to the home page and tap the bars on the top left.
ii. The main menu will appear. You will see your web address near the top of the menu. Tap the link to reach your website.
iii. The website opens within the app. You may also choose to open the website on your browser by selecting the ‘Open in Browser’ option.
b) From the Website
i. Click on your business name or URL from any page on the portal. It will take you to your website.
ii. Your website will open in a separate tab.
2. What is Virtual Mobile Number (VMN)?
A Virtual Mobile Number (VMN) is a special phone number where customers can call you. When someone calls you on your VMN, that call is automatically tracked and recorded, and can be played back later using the Call Tracker feature. It saves you the trouble of taking down notes while interacting with the customer.
3. How to get your own domain name?
Boost allows users to get their own domain name so that their business can benefit from a more professional look. See the answer to Part IX, Question 5 below to find out how you can get your own domain name.
4. What if I already have a domain? How do I integrate it?
If you already have a domain name, you may share the credentials with us and we will integrate it on your behalf. But if you do not want to share the credentials, we can share information about our servers which can be used to integrate the domain name from your end.
5. How to transfer domain authority from NowFloats to merchant account?
To transfer domain authority, the customer needs to provide the following information to NowFloats:
● Business name
● Customer’s name
● Mobile number
● Email ID
● Complete address with PIN code
Once the information has been provided, NowFloats will process the data and supply a login credential to the user as per the example below.
● URL: nowfloats.myorderbox.com/customer
● Username: firstname.lastname@example.org (your email)
● Password: xxxxxx (this will be provided)
Using these credentials, the user can transfer complete authority to another domain registrar such as GoDaddy, Reseller or BigRock by following these steps:
● Create an account in another domain registrar
● Go to domain transfer
● Key in the domain registration and secret code/authority code
● Click ‘submit’. The domain transfer will be completed in the next 7-10 days
